    Have you ever watched one of the television shows about hoarding? Whether or not these shows help the general population understand hoarding is uncertain. Some people are empathetic and non-judgmental, others are blameful and disgusted. “Why can’t you just throw it out?” was a question posed to one of the participants. The answer was truthful and simple, “I don’t know.”
