River is receding The Little Wabash River is finally receding after nearly a week in the minor flood stages in and around Carmi. The river peaked over the weekend at 30.56 feet and was recorded at 30.2 feet today at 8 a.m. The river is expected to stay in minor flood stages through the remainder of the week, dropping below the 27 foot flood stage on Sunday, June 16.
