U.S. District Judge David Lawson denied convicted investment adviser John Bravata's request to block the liquidation of his assets, which the government plans to auction off following Bravata's conviction on charges he duped hundreds of investors out of more than $50 million. The auction's proceeds will go to Bravata's victims.
