William E. Smith, at 85, of Tewksbury, electrician William E. “Bill” Smith of Tewksbury, a boxer and retired electrician, died Sunday at home after a brief illness. He was 85. Born and raised in Medford, Mr. Smith moved to Tewksbury in 1960 to raise his family. In his youth, Mr. Smith was a professional boxer. A member of IBEW Local 103, he worked as an electrician before retiring. He was an avid runner and loved to play handball.
