• Silver City man dies while at work at the Tyrone Mine
  SILVER CITY >> A 50-year-old Silver City man died Friday while at work at the Tyrone Mine. Richard Juan Gallegos Sr. collapsed at approximately 3:30 p.m. near the end of his work shift, according to Gabe Doak, external communications manager for Freeport MacMoRan.
