Dear Dr. Roach: I read that if one is taking a statin drug (like Simvastatin) for cholesterol management, one also should take the supplement CoQ10. If so, why, and in what daily dosage? I also read that one should take it twice daily rather than once, as it passes through the system quickly. Is this true?
