• Scioderm testing cream for rare skin disorder
  Durham-based Scioderm is testing a cream for a rare skin disorder whose victims, called “butterfly children,” die young. The experimental treatment is one of just 19 nationwide to receive the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s “breakthrough therapy designation” to expedite development of promising drugs.
