Coralville Man Tried Dragging Officers Down Stairs CORALVILLE, Iowa (AP) - A Coralville man resisting arrest has been accused of trying to drag police officers down a flight of stairs. Coralville police say 45-year-old Donroy Merrival Jr. called 911 Sunday night without an emergency. He's accused of trying to fight responding officers.

Northwest suburban police blotter A Wood Dale man was arrested around 4:45 a. m. June 13 in Des Plaines and charged with battery and resisting arrest. According to police reports, the man repeatedly swore at the officers, verbally threatened them and chest-bumped and elbowed an officer. He struggled during the arrest and at the police department, reports added.
