Pet peacock shot with arrow in Linn County; bird not yet located A pet peacock was shot with an arrow on Wednesday, and authorities are investigating. Linn County Sheriff Brian Gardner said a deputy responded to a home on Mount Vernon Road Wednesday. Gardner said the homeowner keeps several peacocks, chickens and goats at her residence.
