• Pro Re Nata wins Lakewood’s Yacht of the Year award
  At the Annual Awards Ceremony held at Lakewood Yacht Club on the morning of Sat., Nov. 16, Fleet Captain Don Mitchell announced that racer and member Tom Macaluso’s boat “Pro Re Nata” captured the “Yacht of the Year” for 2013. This annual trophy goes to the Lakewood Yacht Club boat that has the best score in club-hosted races on Galveston Bay and of the coast of Galveston.
