Fall Harvest Festival at Newlin Grist Mill The 18th-century will come to life during Newlin Grist Mill’s Fall Harvest Festival, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 5. See a laundress at work, hear blacksmiths pounding on an anvil, smell fresh baked bread baking on an open hearth and see demonstrations of food made using colonial recipes and techniques. There will also be lace making, spinning and dying, milling, iron making and more.
