Last sunflowers of the year Arkansas City resident Karl Faidley recently took this photo of sawtooth sunflowers in his yard. Helianthus grosseserratus, as it's known scientifically, can reach 3 to 12 feet in height, and is found along streams, damp prairies and roadsides in the eastern parts of Canada and the U.S.
