    The normally sad and lonely howls and meows sounded a little happier on Tuesday at the Ridgecrest Animal Shelter thanks to a donation of chew toys, nail clippers and $650 courtesy of the region's newest nonagenarian, Wayne Burnett and his family. The donation was Burnett's 90th birthday present.
