Aspect refers to the way something appears when viewed from a unique direction. It has several figurative uses applicable to specific sentences.

"My Boss says my pitch wasn't quite convincing from his aspect."

Respect is a character trait of holding someone in high regard. It means you have a good opinion, admiration and honour for someone.

"I respect my parents, they have done a lot for me."
