• Wildfire near Sierra High School
  A fire started Monday afternoon on Lodge Road, behind Sierra High School, near Tollhouse in Fresno County. The Sierra Fire quickly spread to 50 acres and threatened about two dozen homes, but fire crews say the homes are safe. Four air tankers are being used along with two helicopters are assisting firefighters from at least seven different agencies.  The fire is about 50% contained.
