Rev. Edward Grant Pettit, a priest for the Diocese of Pueblo for 62 years, died Monday. He was 85. Pettit, born and raised in Pueblo, was ordained June 1, 1951, and his very first assignment was St. Peter the Apostle in Rocky Ford.
