  • Ropers survive rain for Webster honors
    PAWHUSKA — Despite a rain interruption that eliminated half of the contestants, the Shoat Webster Classic steer roping was held Sunday at the Bar K Arena southwest of town. Sponsored by the Osage Steer Roping Club, the annual Shoat Webster event is held in honor of the pro rodeo hall-of-famer from Lenapah. Webster died May 20 at the age of 88.
