David Kennedy, Playhouse associate artistic director and director of “Loot,” introduced today’s showing of “Prick Up Your Ears,” the 1987 film adaptation of the biography of Joe Orton, author of “Loot.” The English playwright and author died in 1967 at age 34. His public career was short but prolific, lasting from 1964 until his death.
