EHD cancels air health alert due to wildfire smoke The New Mexico Environmental Health Department’s Air Quality Division canceled a health alert Sunday after wildfire smoke caused elevated levels of particulate matter. The predicted weather conditions changed and smoke from the Thompson Ridge wildfire is not expected to come into the Albuquerque area, the agency said.
