• Bean patch disaster: Where are my limas?
  News Leader reader Jim writes this week with a dilemma in the bean patch. “I have had large healthy lima bean plants the last two years but no beans. They bloom but no pods. Last year I planted bush and this year pole — same result (with) no pods but healthy looking plants. Any ideas?”
