Jane Rose once fronted a folk band. She “sat still” and performed traditional folk music for years before figuring out what she was missing. She always had a soft spot for rockabilly and hillbilly music, but once she started performing it, she found out why she loved it so much. She said the music makes her and the audience move, pure and simple.
