A Modesto company that has been producing every Sara Lee roll and hotdog and hamburger roll sold in California is expanding with a second production line, that could result in doubling its work force to about 200 employees. The Flowers Baking Co. of Modesto is a subsidiary of Georgia-based Flowers Foods, the nation’s second largest baker with annual revenues of more than $3 billion.
