Two gulls found dead, covered in oil off northern coast of St. Lawrence Island Subsistence hunters found the recently deceased glaucous gulls on an offshore hunt about 12 miles east of the island village of Gambell, according to a situation report from the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation.
