The Grapevine (June 15) The College Hill Historical/Architectural Garden Tour is Saturday in the 200 and 300 blocks of South Clifton, to Waterman. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and tickets are $6, available at any house on the two blocks. The tour is free for children under 12. The ticket will include historical and architectural information about the houses, and some of the backyards will be open for touring.

A mission for the fallen Chincoteague native Barry Abell stands by the scow he hand-built based on old plans and designs of legendary Chincoteague boat builders. Abell has donated the scow to be raffled off to raise funds for a life-size bronze waterman's memorial to be erected in Reed Park on the Chincoteague waterfront.
