• Carteret Co. approves formal complaint against beach regulations
  Monday night Carteret County Commissioners approved a plan to send a notice of intent to sue the United States Fish and Wildlife service if changes are not made to a particular federal proposal. Some feel the Loggerhead Sea Turtle Critical Habitat Designation is excessive regulation and would affect beach access and re-nourishment in the future.
