As her last full year as Frank Silvia Elementary School principal draws closer to an end, it’s only fitting that Denise Ward finally got her wish. That wish was a state-themed Field Day. “It’s a dream, it’s fun,” said Ward during the opening ceremony of “Passport to America” on Tuesday afternoon. The actual Field Day events will take place today, weather permitting.
