  • Mudcat Grant participates in golf tournament for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation

    When racial barriers finally fell in major league baseball a half a century ago, one of the first to make it to the big leagues was Mudcat Grant. Grant went on to a 13 year career as a pitcher for several clubs, starting with the Cleveland Indians and ending with a one year stint with the Oakland A's.
