• Ohio college lands pledge for opera star residency
  OBERLIN, Ohio (AP) - Ohio's Oberlin College has landed a $150,000 pledge to support an annual campus residency by opera star Marilyn Horne. President Stephen Rubin of the Henry Holt & Co. publishing house made the pledge announced last week.
