  • KVAS to host native bee program

    RED BUD -- Kaskaskia Valley Audubon Society will host a program on the diversity and effects of conservation practices on native bee at 7 p.m. Thursday in the VFW post. Ray Geroff, CREP program coordinator with Illinois Department of Natural Resources, will share his research experience on the native hymenoptera bees.
