• Manteo man dies in head-on collision in Jarvisburg
  Casey Rodriguez, 19, of Manteo was killed after a head-on collision Sunday morning on U.S. Highway 158 in Jarvisburg. Rodriguez was driving a 1991 Buick Regal, traveling north on 158, went off the roadway, lost control and overcorrected, traveling back onto the highway and left of the center line, N.C. State Highway Patrol First Sergeant Randy Moreau told the Sentinel.
