Electric power was intermittent and sometimes off completely in Purcell last Wednesday. City manager Dale Bunn said the problem was a feeder line carrying current from the new station had burned in two where it went under the interstate. Electrical lines were rerouted and the city called in support from Edmond. Crews worked until noon Thursday repairing the damage.
