• Man stabbed at N.E. Side motel
  Detective Lon Doyle said the stabbing occurred at the Travel Inn motel in the 5700 block of Industry Park Drive, a block east of Interstate 35 near Rittiman Road. Investigators interviewed motel guests and staffers and photographed evidence that included two pools of blood in the parking lot and a bloodstain on a motel wall.
