Norfolk-based carrier Bush to get new commander NORFOLK Capt. Andrew J. Loiselle will take over as commanding officer for the aircraft carrier George H.W. Bush on Thursday. Loiselle previously served as commanding officer of the dock landing ship Gunston Hall. A native of Rhode Island, he graduated from Assumption College in 1988 with a degree in mathematics, according to a Navy news release.
