Bare means to go completely naked, by either removing clothes or showing something in its basic form.

"Tell him not to walk on the grass bare footed."

Bear, traditionally means the giant, hairy wild animal with sharp teeth and extremely long claws. It also means to put up with someone or something or carry something.

"Your son shall remain your son, no matter what name he bears."
